Good engineering starts with understanding.
I want to design things that work in the real world—and can be maintained there.
My foundation in physics and experience as a mechanic shape how I approach engineering. Working with real parts has made me attentive to failure, function, and the people who have to repair what we build.
Beyond the workshop, I write about technology and culture. My time in Syria has also shaped a long-term ambition: to build an engineering business in Damascus and contribute practical solutions to its rebuilding.
